October I had to visit the nearby large town to receive my driving license, and the mouse-war began. I also explored around the garage and began to lay some gravel in places.
We felt like we were making progress with settling in - we'd passed our first application to stay, and were getting more setup with the various government agencies and local trade contacts. We also worked to clear an old wood pile in case it caused complaints.
